Synergy Manufacturing Steering Box Brace 09-25 Dodge Ram 2500 / 3500

Synergy Manufacturing Steering Box Brace 09-25 Dodge Ram 2500 / 3500

One of the most common issues that has plagued Ram HD's since they adopted a coil sprung front end in 1994 model years, is steering wander, sometimes even leading to what is known as "Death Wobble" that is a violent and uncontrollable shaking of the front end. While there are numerous causes of these issues, one of the most typical is play in the sector shaft that comes out of the steering box, where the pitman arm is attached. The easiest way to prevent this is by installing a sector shaft brace, such as this unit from Synergy that installs between the frame rails and your factory front sway bar, basically adding a crossmember to the front end, that the steering box now attaches to.

Built out of 2.0" x 0.120" thick square tubing and finished off in a gloss black powdercoat, the addition of this brace will probably be the fastest installation, most cost effective, and beneficial upgrade you can do to your Ram.
