KC Turbos TP38r Stage 3 Dual Ball Bearing Turbo 94-97 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke
The Original TP38r is back and better than ever! KC Turbos has invested years in research and development, enhancing and rigorously testing their ball bearing technology to deliver the most advanced and dependable design they've ever made.
The improved TP38r compressor wheel is drastically different, featuring a larger 7x7 KC300x Gen 2 compressor wheel. This newly revamped compressor wheel draws inspiration from the 366SX-E compressor wheel, showcasing a similar blade profile but with a reverse rotation configuration.
As for the Turbine Wheel, it draws design cues from the 366SX-E as well. However, its larger diameter offers increased airflow and durability, thanks to thicker blades, a sturdier hub, and a reinforced rear structure, reducing the risk of fatigue and wheel failure. The dual ball bearing center housing has also been adapted to accommodate the turbine's thicker shaft, going from 6.4mm in the original to 7.5mm for added strength and longevity.
This dual ball bearing turbo is bound to impress you with its performance enhancements for your 7.3L engine. KC Turbos has subjected it to extensive durability testing, proven its capabilities on the dynamometer, and validated its performance on the racetrack. The 1.0 A/R Housing is designed to lower your Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs) above 3000 RPMs. Meanwhile, for dedicated towing rigs and daily drivers, the .84 A/R Housing offers a quicker spool and cooler EGTs below 3000 RPMs.
