Carli 5.5" Lift Commuter Suspension System 23-26 Ford F-250/F-350 6.7L Powerstroke 4x4
The Commuter 2.0 system is designed for people seeking the best on-road ride quality that don’t plan to off-road their vehicle beyond low-speed trail driving. Utilizing Carli SPEC 2.0″ diameter Internal Reservoir shocks that are tuned to deliver all-around comfort and ride quality for on-road, in town, highway, and towing/hauling.
The truck will sit 5.5” higher in the front and have more wheel travel thanks to the tall Progressive Rate Coil Springs. The Radius Arm Drop Brackets will reset the pivot point and keep the travel linear for the best ride while the Sway Bar Link & Drop Brackets Kit resets the sway bar engagement point. Bump Stop Drops protect the shocks from over-compressing, the Adjustable Track Bar centers the front axle and Stainless Brake Lines firm up braking and ensure there is enough line for the newfound travel. To round off the front end, Caster Shims are included to tighten the steering.
Factory wheels should not be run with oversized tires. They’re known to rub the radius arm, sway bar and most concerning – brake lines. Factory tires and factory wheels will work without issue but not oversized tires on factory wheels. On the 4.5-5.5” Ford Systems, it is recommended to use 17”-18” wheels, no more than 9” wide with 5” of backspacing with a 37” E-Rated Tire. The more rubber, the better the small bump compliance will be at proper inflation pressures. The ride will firm up as you go larger in wheel diameter.
SWAY BAR OPTIONS
This lift kit requires an upgrade to the sway bar for compatibility. There are 2 options: the Torsion Sway Bar Kit, or the Extended Links & Drop Brackets Kit.

This lift kit is designed to be paired with a rear leaf spring upgrade to achieve the proper stance. There are 2 options: Add-A-Pack 3" Lift, or Full Leaf Spring Kit 3" Lift.
- Levels the rear perfectly to match 4.5-5.5″ front lifts
- Softer unloaded ride & massive suspension travel increase
- Load carrying capacity is reduced to slightly less than a 3/4-ton capacity
- Provides Slightly Rear-High Stance with 4.5-5.5″ front lifts
- Not recommended for F-350 or F-250 with heavy duty rear suspension
- Load Capacity is Maintained, but ride quality will not be as smooth as the Full Rear Leaf Spring Kit
ADDITIONAL OPTIONS
These are recommendations that are sure to benefit you when you install your lift kit.
- Corrects the rear pinion angle for lifted trucks
- Reduces the chance of driveline vibrations
- Not "required" on every truck, but these are FAR easier to put in place during leaf spring installation rather than doing it later on
- For trucks with 2-piece driveshafts
- Lowers the carrier bearing to eliminate take-off shudder for lifted trucks
- Stackable 3/8" Shims
HIGH MOUNT STEERING STABILIZER
Installs up and out of the way with the provided frame hardware and Drag-Link Bracket. A higher nitrogen charge pushes to the left to counter-act a Right Hand Tire Pull. Combine with a Carli Low-Mount for a true, infinitely adjustable stabilization system for optimal damping with any tire.

Carrier Bearing Drop lowers the carrier on 2-piece driveshafts to prevent take-off shudder and driveline vibration, and includes stackable 3/8" shims to accommodate 1"-4" of rear lift.
ADJUSTABLE RADIUS ARM
Fully boxed construction, these Carli radius arms correct 0.5°-2.5° of caster at the axle mount ensuring ANY Carli customer can achieve death-wobble-preventing positive caster.
LEAF SPRING SHACKLE
Factory rear shackles are strong but can make the ride stiff and bouncy. Carli’s shackles are made from thick steel and have serviceable bushings that let the rear suspension move smoothly, reduce axle wrap and wheel hop. Made from strong 1/4" steel, greasable and rebuildable for long life, provides a far better ride than the factory shackle, and fits both factory and Carli springs
