Windows and doors have two operations: open and close. It's irritating when they can't do that. For the 2004.5-2009 Dodge 2500 and 3500, there's a common failure of the harness that control those two functions of the rear doors. The flex piece where the door harness meets the b-pillar eventually cracks creating shorts in the circuit or open conditions as well. In the door itself, the hardware associated with the handle and the lock can rub the wiring as well, causing the same failure. Instead of the daunting task of splicing, soldering and chasing wiring issues, the solution is a mind easing plug and play repair. Dorman's 645-506
Rear Door Harness fits either side's rear door and meets at the b-pillar for the corresponding side. All connectors are included and prewired, pinned and include
mounting tabs for a clean factory-like repair.
