The factory injectors in the first iteration of the Duramax engines, dubbed the LB7, had an extremely high failure rate, so much so that GM extended the warranty on the injectors after the fact. Fortunately, the original manufacturer of the injectors, Bosch, determined the root cause of the failures and rectified the issues with a revised design. If you're in need of replacing one, two, or all of your injectors, these are a genuine Bosch, brand new (not remanufactured) replacement injector. And because these truly are brand new, there is no core charge and no need to send in your original injector(s).
