Bilstein 5100 Rear Shock 14-25 Ram 2500 4WD With Factory Air Suspension
Did your Ram 2500 come with factory air suspension? That smooth ride and extra stability really helps whether you are towing or just driving around the block. That comfort though adds a bit of complexity if your planning on upgrading or replacing the rear shocks. Luckily Bilstein has the shocks and the quality you need to make sure your truck will be rolling down the road in air comfort for years to come.
Experience enhanced performance and ride quality with Bilstein B8 5100 shock absorbers, meticulously engineered for lifted trucks. Designed with a smooth, non-coilover body, these shock absorbers deliver consistent, fade-free performance, ensuring optimal handling even in challenging road conditions. The unique, velocity-sensitive, digressive piston responds dynamically to varying terrains, providing a tailored solution for each application. Tuned for specific vehicles, the B8 5100 shock absorbers bring a remarkable improvement in ride comfort, handling precision, and overall driving experience.
Power Hop Option
Beginning with the 2014 Ram 2500 model years, Ram abandoned use of a traditional leaf spring out back in favor of coil springs exclusively on 2500 models. This shocked many, but was done in an effort to improve the ride. On certain applications, such as Power Wagons and G56 manual transmission equipped Cummins, it was evident that wheel hop was an issue. In order to correct this, Ram installed what is known as a Power Hop Damper on the rear axle that connects to the top of the differential on one end and a crossmember under the bed at the other. This Power Hop Bilstein 5100 shock absorber is designed as a direct fit solution for your Power Hop equipped Ram 2500.
NOTE: Shock is sold without bracket and requires the bracket to have been previously installed.
